Today I'm resolved to finish some pieces that I am working on.
I'll finish my lioness picture and my Arabian Horse graphite.
Bleh.

And then I think I'll go and start another picture. Maybe a horse
with graphite..or pastels we'll see. Yes, pastels would be nice if I
added really deep shading. But then I'll have to go and get some
good paper.. Oh well!

But I'll have to plan my time well because my friends Kaity and Naomi are coming over... hm.. Oh well, maybe when we're watching
a movie or something I can work on my art.

My lioness pic that I'm working on is pleasing to me, although the
fur is really, REALLY annoying. I added some interest to it yesterday.
I quite like it: I added a yellow eye and a pinkish tounge to the dull
greys and blacks of the other pastels.

My art teacher, James Tughan, thought I was messing it up by putting
in some really deep blacks. Sometimes he says stuff that discourages
me and kinda... makes me stray from my art a bit. Its annoying.

In the past month I haven't had the urge to draw much: I think it's
still a relapse from exam stress. But I've been doing a little more
recently and I think thats good. I've also improved my teqniques and
shading in the past 2 months. I can somewhat make the object appear
3D but its really hard!!!

I'm ammature, mainly self-taught. I only started taking art lessons
2 or so years ago. And even then...
